Ladies Ministry

I count it a great privilege to be the Ladies Ministry leader of The Apostolic Promise Church (TAP).  It means a lot to me to have a small part in ladies through this journey called life on their way to Heaven!

The ladies of TAP usually get together once a month.  We do something different each month of the year.  One thing I particularly like to do is to have a bible study where the ladies can get together and discuss different aspects of the bible.  It is a tremendous help to the new converts.  It is an opportunity for them to open up and ask questions of the other ladies that they might not feel at liberty ask at any other time.

We also take shopping trips, go to the Muny, and to unique places to eat. No matter what we do we ALWAYS eat!  We have annual Christmas banquet for the ladies.  It is always a great time of fun, food, and fellowship.  The ladies pass around a friendship basket throughout the year.  We draw names at the beginning of the year and as each lady receives the basket she fills the basket with gifts and goodies for the lady whose name she drew.

The highlight of the ladies ministry of TAP is the Missouri District Ladies Conference.  We try to take as many ladies as we can to this conference each year.  The Lord tremendously moves in each service.  Lives are changed through the women who ministry to the ladies.  We have a great time of fellowship together.

My vision for the coming year for the ladies ministry is that we continue to add new ladies to our group and help each lady to grow to new heights in their relationship with the Lord. We have an average of 35 ladies that are a part of our group now.  I believe we can double that in the next year in Jesus name.
