Welcome
Our church has grown dynamically the last couple of years and we are anticipating a tremendous service on this Sunday. Come and see what God is doing at The Apostolic Promise Church. You will be thrilled in the environment of growth and excitement. You will be overwhelmed by the moving of the Spirit of God in the worship. And you will be radically impacted by the inspired preaching of the Word of God.
To the Church in Cape Girardeau:
I hear the crackling of thunder. I see the flashes of lightning. I can smell the purity of the pre-rain atmosphere. My veins are throbbing as the rush of adrenaline fills my soul. There is a Holy Ghost Storm heading our way. A Holy Ghost hurricane is on course to land in Cape Girardeau at any moment.
Do you feel it in the atmosphere? Can you sense it in the Spirit? Is your soul feeling an insatiable hunger to taste the miraculous, to handle the holy, and to embrace the supernatural? I sense it when I hear your testimonies. I feel it when meeting with ministry leaders. Everyone is talking the same talk.
You know what? The devil feels it also. A lion knows when a storm is coming. He can smell the pre-rain purity in the atmosphere. He can hear the roar of distant thunder. He knows the storm is stronger than him. He can’t fight the storm. He can’t roar at the storm. He can’t chase the storm. The storm is IRRESISTABLE. The only thing he can do in the storm is run for cover.
I was in South Africa a few years ago and was traveling through Kruger Park. Kruger Park is filled with wild animals of all varieties. One day of the trip our guide explained to us the hunting patterns of the lions. He made a powerful statement when he said “lions do not attack during the rainy season. They only attack when the land is dry and parched.” The lion can not attack during the rainy season. He is able to defend himself, but his hunting skills are handicapped by the rain.
Rain is in the forecast. I feel an amazing amount of polite pressure from the Lord to help this church prepare for what God is going to do. Do you have a rain coat ready? We are going to be working in some rainy conditions.
To our guests: We trust you feel and sense the atmosphere of expectancy that our church body has for the miraculous to take place in our midst. Join us in our journey. On our journey we are going to experience miraculous growth and expansion. We are going to be eyewitnesses of the miracle healing power of Almighty God. Come join us on the exciting quest for the demonstration of God.
Thank you for your Internet interest in The Apostolic Promise Church (TAP). We trust as you explore our ministries you will come to understand the joy of our shared ministry “to know Him and to make Him known.” That single phrase is the motivating factor behind all that we do at The Apostolic Promise. We strive to be a people with a committed faith in Jesus Christ, with deep rooted convictions in the old paths, while embracing the challenges of our day with wisdom and guidance from the Lord. Our faith is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and His righteousness.
Jesus admonished us to love our neighbor. We are constantly striving to fulfill that command by developing new ministries and activities that help us demonstrate love to all people. Regardless of your circumstances in life, you are important to us and to the Lord Jesus. We are committed to serve you, teach you, pray with you, and grow together with you.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is as real and accessible today as it was over 2000 years ago. It is still about you and I having a one-on-one encounter with the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ. By “making people our purpose” we believe that God is a powerful, living God that you can feel and know. By “making ministry our mission,” we reach out by touching lives and changing hearts right now … right where you live.
We share a sincere love and a sense of fellowship that draws us closer together as we worship, learn about, and serve the Lord. May the Lord bless you as you also grow in relationship with Him and His church. If we may be of assistance to you in that effort, please contact us. Feel free to use our e-mail address, phone, or mailing address.
